The second-day of the advisory meeting (rural) held at AIADMK's party office here was attended by Ex-MP, Pollachi Mahendran, Pollachi V Jayaraman and other District Committee members.
The Minister for Municipal and Rural Administration pointed out the upcoming local body elections and asked District teams to gear-up.
"Yes, we lost the parliamentary elections in the Kongu region. Yet, the victory of AIADMK is Sulur reassures us that Kongu belt is AIADMK's bastion. The opposition parties won the votes by injecting lies in the minds of the people which anyways will not apply for longtime", asserted the Minister.
He added that "All districts heads should re-direct their attention towards the nearing local body elections and ensure we emerge with a mammoth victory."
